Why drop chance comes first

Every progression mechanic in this game — gear, materials, Cube fuel, Soulstones — feeds off drops. Rune of Exploration increases the chance that monsters drop a Normal Chest at all, and that compounds across every stage you'll ever run. Spend your first rune gold here.

Why inventory comes second

When your bag fills up, drops stop. While you're AFK, that means lost progress. Rune of Expansion raises your max inventory slot count — each level adds slots that pay back over the lifetime of every farm session.

Why Repose comes third

Rune of Repose is the toggle that turns offline rewards on at all. Without it, you get nothing while the game is closed. Once it's bought, every minute of downtime contributes.

Then Auto-Open speed and gold/XP

Chests have a delay before they auto-open. Rune of Lubrication shaves that down — useful once your chest-cap runes (Containment / the Vault) let you hold more pending chests at once. After that, layer in Rune of Wealth for gold and Rune of Growth for XP.
